Did you know that The Samaritans on Cape Cod and the Islands was founded in 1977 on one simple, yet powerful premise: listening attentively and with unqualified respect offers hope to those in need?

For 45 years, our Crisis Line befrienders have provided a non-judgmental, confidential forum for callers, where they can safely express the full range of their feelings. The Samaritans offer eight programs for suicide prevention and grief support for our Cape and Islands community.

We invite you to join us in celebrating 45 years of sharing hope with those in need.
